Pass the Tennessee Motorcycle Permit Test

Tennessee is the state of three major areas. To the west you can ride your motorcycle through flat regions, in the middle you can ride the hills, and to the east you can enjoy the Smoky Mountains. In no other state can you enjoy such a variety! You can even stop in Nashville’s Centennial Park and view a replica of the Parthenon, or see Graceland in Memphis.

But, before you can enjoy the variety of Tennessee, you need to pass your motorcycle permit test.

First step is to contact us. We have created several practice tests to help you  learn the state material and give you confidence to pass the state test.

Second step is to download the state manual. You need to learn the general rules for every state, and the specific rules for Tennessee.

For example: On road, Tennessee requires you to use a headlight at all hours, even daylight and to have eye protection while riding. Tennessee also allows you to ride two abreast in one lane, but not to lane split.

Off road, Tennessee has different requirements that you can learn about in the manual.

After you study the manual and are sure you know the material, take a practice test and make a note of what you miss. Then take some time to study the topics you missed.

Keep doing that: Take a test, study, … until you are ready for the state test. Check the Tennessee DMV webpage to make sure you have the right paperwork. Then make your appointment and confidently go in and pass the test.
