Permit Restrictions to Keep in Mind
Once you pass the test and receive your Missouri motorcycle permit, you’ll need to follow these restrictions until you’re eligible for a full motorcycle license:
- No Alcohol-Related Offenses – Within the last 12 months, you must have a clean record free of alcohol-related incidents.
- Clean Traffic Record (Minors)—No traffic violations are permitted for applicants under 18 years of age within the prior six months.
- Supervised Riding – You should practice riding under supervision when possible, especially as a new rider.
These restrictions are in place to ensure you develop the skills and understanding necessary to ride safely.
